one day when women’s dresses are on sale at the shop, a man decides to buy a dress for his wife. but he soon finds himself can’t get close to the dresses. there are too many women.

he can only stand in the crowd. he stands and waits for a long time, but he finds himself farther and farther from the dresses. he is very angry and tries his best to buy the dresses.

“you there! don’t push,” cries an angry voice. “can’t you act like a gentleman”

“listen,” he says, “i acted like a gentleman an hour ago. from now on, i am acting like a lady, just like you!”

the broom seller and the barber

a broom seller goes into a barber’s shop to get shaved. the barber buys one of his brooms. after he had shaved him, he asks for the price of the broom.

“two penny,” says the man.

“no, no,” says the barber. “i will give you one penny, and if you don’t think that is enough, you may take your broom back!”

the broom seller takes it and asks what he has to pay his shave.“a penny,” says the barber.

“i will give you a half penny, and if that is not enough, you may put my beard on again.” the man says.

there are three foxes in the forest, they work together. they live a happy life. little by little, the youngest fox be***es lazy, and often quarrels with the other foxes.

looking at the warm house with a lot of good food in it, the youngest fox **iles. the eldest fox opens a new hill again. the second eldest fox digs a pool.

Youth

Youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life .

Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years . We grow old by deserting our ideals.

Years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . Worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .

Whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being ‘s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joy of the game of living . In the center of your heart and my heart there’s a wireless station : so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .

When the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80.

她勤恳敬业，踏踏实实地教书育人，认认真真地做好学校交给她的工作，不辜负领导的信任。她对自己严格要求，对工作一丝不苟，教学以实为本，育人从实际出发。她凭着踏实肯干，赢得了学生的认可，同事的认同。

她为人热忱随和，作为教导，在学校的会议上，当她要布置一些工作时，总会谦逊地先说一句：”我有个想法，提出来和大家讨论一下，大家如果有更好的提议，也可以提出来——“当同事们对教学教研有建议时，她总能欣然地倾听并接受。凤垵小学年轻老师多，在繁忙的工作之余，经常听到她给实习老师传授一些经验和教学技巧。老师们教学上需要一些资料和教学用书时，她再忙，也会抽空为你找出来。

这就是我的工作伙伴，我的”战友“，我们的教导，孙娟娟老师。

a pigeon, oppressed by excessive thirst, saw a goblet of water painted on a signboard. not supposing it to be only a picture, she flew towards it with a loud whir and unwittingly dashed against the signboard, jarring herself terribly. having broken her wings by the blow, she fell to the ground, and was caught by one of the bystanders.

1、the thirsty pigeon口渴的鸽子

zeal should not outrun discretion.

一只鸽子很渴。看到画板上有一个水瓶，他以为是真的。他立刻呼呼地猛飞过去，不料一头碰撞在画板上，折断了翅膀，摔在地上，被人轻易地捉住了。

这就是说，如果有些人想急急忙忙地得到他们所需要的东西，如果他们冲动鲁莽，就会遭受不幸。

2、the wind and the sun (风和太阳)

one day the wind said to the sun, “look at that man walking along the road. i can get his cloak off more quickly than you can.”

“we will see about that,” said the sun. “i will let you try first.”

so the wind tried to make the man take off his cloak. he blew and blew, but the man only pulled his cloak more closely around himself.

“i give up,” said the wind at last. “i cannot get his cloak off.” then the sun tried.

he shone as hard as he could. the man soon became hot and took off his cloak.

大家好！

今天我演讲的题目是“沉醉书香”。“读书破万卷，下笔如有神”“一日无书，百事荒芜”。书是我们生活中必不可少的一部分。一本好书就是打开智慧的钥匙，也是一盏明灯。

读书提高了我的写作能力。记得我一二年级的时候，最怕的就是写作文，因为每次写作文我的脑子里就空荡荡的，什么也写不出来。我现在不一样了，我从一个不会写作文的人，变成了一个不怕写作，会写作文的人了。每次写作文，我的脑海里都装满了好词好句。这就是读书带给我的好处。

读书让我就可以开阔视野。我虽然没有去过北京，西安，内蒙古…但是我从书上了解到了这些地方的文化习俗。这也是书带给我的好处。

读书让我知道了许多英雄人物的事迹。读了《七律·长征》我了解到了的他们乐观和不怕艰难险阻的精神。

书就是一片知识的海洋，也是一片丰收的田野。爱书的人是渴望读书的，无声地书会告诉你有声的世界是怎样的精彩。时间在不停地流逝，而书却会一直陪伴着我成长，一天又一天，一年又一年……

高兴我能登上这个神圣的讲台。我叫林玉琦，我的职位是学习委员。我是一个平凡的女生，没有过人的长处，没有天才的智商，上台会紧张，也有大大小小的缺点，但是每一个人都是在进步，我相信在今后的学习中我一定会改正缺点，努力把每件事做得更好。在小学五年中我曾多次担任班干部，我相信自己能胜任这个职位，相信机会是垂青于每一个有准备的人。成为一个班干部，优异的成绩是必须的。我并不满足于现在的成绩，一定会更加努力，争取更优秀的成绩!虽然成为班干部后学习时间会比其他同学少，但是合理安排时间，制定一个完善的学习计划，我相信学习成绩一定不会落在同学后面，反而还可以提高自己的综合素质。我当上班干部，我将进一步完善自己，提高自己各方面的素质，进一步提高自己的工作热情，以积极的心态去对待每一件事情;进一步提高责任心，在工作中大胆创新，锐意进取，虚心地向别人学习，改正出现的缺点，改善优点，让自己的工作做到得心应手。我总结了过去的工作经验，相信自己，丰富的经经验是我前进的力量;能够更好、更多地为全班同学服务是我的愿望;建立一个充满学习动力、团结向上的班级是我的工作目标。

一、班风建设良好。

我们中队中的每一位队员都具有主人翁的意识，中队的干部是自己选的，小队队名是自己取的。班干部在同学们心目中具有较强的号召力，我们自发召开班干部会议，自发向班主任提出建议，自行开班队会。好几次的班会课，我们自选主题，自己报名当主持，参与节目，充分发挥了每个队员的主人翁精神。有一次，我们选了“小公民章”的雏鹰争章课，我和戴一乙、蔡铭回家准备课件，精心选择背景图片，给同学们上了一节“班队课”，他们受益匪浅。除了班委，班级里还有一批能力强的同学愿意为大家服务，帮助同学共同进步。班级设有“值周班长轮流管理制”，有“小岗位制”，有“班级公约制”和“学生综合评定办法”，值周班长的职责是全面负责班级工作，并做好值周记录，在班会课上向同学们作汇报，让我们了解一周的情况和自己的不足，取得了很不错的效果，形成了“人人爱班级”的氛围。

二、热爱学习，互帮互助。

我中队队员的学习习惯都不错，上课认真听讲，回家按时完成作业。课前，我们会认真地预习;课上，我们会认真地倾听;课后，我们会认真地完成作业。我们学得很快乐，同时我们的成绩也一直稳步上升。

班级中的队员有了困难，队员们总是伸出援助之手。xx在学习上有了困难，中队委马上组织同学利用中午的时间轮流为他补课。xx扭伤了脚，班干部组织“爱心小队”要为他端饭送菜，扶他上下楼。xx同学的家长非常感动，直夸我们好样的。的确，我们的宗旨是：一人有难，大家关心，让每一个同学在集体里快乐地成长。每次值日或大扫除，脏活累活大家抢着干，发现地面有纸赶紧弯腰捡起，抽屉乱了同桌
