一.谈教学设计和教学方法
在教学设计和教学方法的选择上，我体现了新课标所反映的教育教学理念，强调以学生为主的教学活动方式，营造探究性和任务型的学习氛围，铺设形成性的评价线索。在教学中，我通过教学卡片、课件、时钟模型等创设真实的学习情境，运用歌曲、游戏、合作等多种教学方法，让学生在玩中学、乐中学。在教学过程中，我努力创设一种轻松、愉悦的课堂气氛，通过各种手段激发学生的学习兴趣，利用多媒体、评价钟及丰富的操练游戏活动来充分调动学生的学习积极性。
二.谈教学环节
本节课的学习内容是时间，所以数字的复习是一个非常重要的环节。我利用多媒体设计了一个钟，利用钟面上的数字来复习，这样既复习了钟面上所出现的或隐藏的数字，同时为后面的时间学习打下了铺垫。
四年级的学生年龄小，敢于表现，学习积极性高，对新鲜的事物特别地感兴趣。于是我结合本课的学习内容，设计了以“钟”为评价的环节，让这个环节贯穿整节课的始终，这样，学生一整节课的学习积极性都非常地高，都想成为“Winner”。此外，我在本节课中坚持大量的操练巩固，通过个别读、升降调读、“一触即发”读、小组读、合作读等多种操练方式，使学生对这一节课充满了新鲜感，从而精神倍加，达到了预定的效果。
本节课我还结合课文重点，设计了一个“What’s thet ime,Mr Wolf?”(老狼，几点钟?)的游戏环节。虽然这个游戏有点过时，但对于学生来说，这是熟悉而且有趣的，学生主动地参与到游戏中，在玩中学习，巩固了本节课的重点。时间和我们的生活息息相关，我结合地球仪向学生介绍了本课的另一个知识点“时差”，同时教给学生一些和时间有关的谚语，培养学生养成珍惜时间，热爱生活的良好品质。
三.谈教学不足
不经反思的人生是没有意义的人生。只有经过反思的教学，才是更有效的教学，教学只有更好，没有最优。当然，本节课也存在着很多的不足。那就是我的语速过快，有些课堂用语，学生听得不是很清晰，这样就导致学生不理解教师发出指令的意思，使一小部分学生在回答问题时无从下手。另外，我的教学设计过分地注重小组合作，注重培养学生的小组合作精神，而培养学生个体意识的练习只有一两个。我应设计一些既能体现个体又能发挥整体性的教学环节，使学生个体与整体联系起来，达到学以致用的目的。
通过这节课我深深地感受到，教师应该真真正正的关注每一名学生的发展，把学生的兴奋细胞统统调动起来，才能让学生真正的成为课堂上的小主人。我还要努力钻研课材，多学习，让自己真正地成为一名优秀的小学英语教师。
